Poplar Grove Mine Rapid Response
The West Kentucky Workforce Board is assisting with the Rapid Response efforts for Poplar Grove Mine in Rumsey, Kentucky. The meeting will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the McLean County Courthouse located at 210 Main Street, Calhoun, Kentucky.
Individuals will receive information to assist in their search for education, re-employment
and sustainable success. Eligibility for Unemployment Insurance will also be discussed.
Individuals should leave the meeting with useful information and a pathway for
additional assistance.
Staff will also be available to assist with Unemployment Insurance at JobNet Career Center in Madisonville on Monday 2/24/20. Please call the Career Center at (270) 821-9966 if you have any questions.
